Chaplain - Hospice (PRN)

Job Description Responsible for implementing and coordinating a activities of CTMC Hospice Care spiritual services program and the delivery of spiritual services to patients and families. Networks with area clergy. Participates in support groups for Hospice patients and staff. Active in the broad scope of pastoral care.  Ministers in the emotional and spiritual dimensions of illness and loss. Promotes confidence, trust, understanding and caring through good listening skills and appropriate, supportive response.  Respects religious values, beliefs and practices of persons of all faiths. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four‑year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master of Divinity, Masters Degree in Counseling, or Masters in Social Work preferred.  Must maintain a current Texas State Driver's License and proof of liability insurance on file.  A minimum of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education or chaplaincy licensure.
