Star Billing, a proud member of the MedStar Health system, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Charge Entry Representative to join our team in Wheaton, MD.Duties include: Handling data entry of surgical, OB, and pain management anesthesia charges Ensuring proper ICD9 and CPT coding, concurrency and referral management for pain clinic Downloading of patient demographics Claim and statement processingPosition requires: HS diploma or equivalent One year in Patient Accounting or related field Strong data entry skills Insurance claims experience, third party insurance and self-pay billing experience Knowledge of medical terminology Anesthesia billing knowledge/experience preferred.
