The Chief Compliance Officer will lead the company?s newly-created Corporate Ethics and Compliance Department and oversee the company?s corporate ethics and compliance program. The Chief Compliance Officer is a Vice President position at the Company. The position is responsible for designing and directing a company-wide program to facilitate compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards, sound ethical standards, and ethics programs and policies as established by management and the Board, and for ensuring that the standards and procedures of the program are communicated, trained and institutionalized throughout the company. The Chief Compliance Officer will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing the company's compliance with these standards and procedures, and for periodically reviewing and assessing the effectiveness of the compliance program and recommending and implementing improvements where appropriate. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, regulations, and internal policies and controls; Supervising the day-to-day implementation and operation of the company?s corporate ethics and compliance program; Periodically assessing, updating, monitoring compliance with and providing training on the Company's code of conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to management and employees; Monitoring operation of the company?s anonymous compliance hotline, including the processing of complaints and/or reported violations, and determining how to address each call in a timely manner, including review and investigation, as appropriate; Regularly report to the Governance and Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors with respect to the activities of the Corporate Ethics and Compliance Department.Qualifications: 5-10 years experience in corporate compliance or pertinent legal practice, including design, implementation and management of compliance programs, training and monitoring tools, and drafting of policies and procedures. Ideal candidate should have significant compliance experience in a public company. Candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of laws and regulations pertinent to the operations of the company, the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, and best practices in governance and compliance. Excellent communications skills, business acumen, sound judgment, meticulous attention to detail, stellar work ethic, and ability to work with little or no supervision. Bachelor?s degree required, a law degree or relevant master?s degree preferred.This position offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits.
