Chief Operating Officer/Assistant CEO

Heartland Behavioral Healthcare, an innovative multi-service behavioral healthcare organization, is seeking an energetic and internally motivated Chief Operating Officer/Assistant CEO.

This position is responsible for supervising, evaluating and providing administrative and managerial direction to the following departments: Fiscal, Reimbursement and Materials Management; Plant Operations, Facility and Capital Planning; Environment of Care Services (Maintenance, Housekeeping, Health & Safety); Information Management, Data and Postal Services; Switchboard/Telecommunications and special assignments.

The successful candidate will have completed an undergraduate core program in business administration/management sciences and have at least 3 years in operations and facility management, information systems, manpower planning, scheduling, staff projections and a strategic understanding and experience in integrating systems to support service and business objectives as well as knowledge and experience in employee training and development.

Preferred candidates will possess a high level of leadership and professionalism, be able to handle multiple projects and deal effectively with people at all levels of the organization. Heartland offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package.
