The Child Life Specialist seek to reduce the stress and anxiety associated with a healthcare experience through play, education, preparation, and other therapeutic interventions; enabling children and families to cope more effectively. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: One year of paid experience working with children and families 480 hours of Child Life clinical experience and a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 courses in Child Life, Child Development, or closely related field (Current Child Life Certification preferred) (You must pass certification examination within twelve (12) months of employment).
