Claims Business Process Analyst - Albuquerque, NM

The company is part of Ovations, a family of UnitedHealth Group businesses dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Americans ages 50 and older.   Primary Responsibilities: Positions in this function are responsible for all related aspects of claim system processes and claim business rules. Includes claims systems utilization, capacity analyses/planning and reporting. Includes claims-related business and systems analysis. Ensures data integrity, data security and process optimization.  Basic, structured, standard approach to work. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required. 3 — 5 years claims background experience required. Experience must include: contractual analysis, claim methodologies (thorough knowledge & understanding), claim systems, reimbursement, provider relations, fee schedules, auditing etc. 2 — 3 years PC skills (Word, Outlook and Excel) experience required. 1+ years of Health plan experience required. Experience contracting & analyzing claims preferred. Experience with Medicaid preferred. Provider relations background preferred.
