Claims Manager

MedSolutions, the leader in radiology management, has an opportunity for a Claims Manager, located in our Franklin, Tennessee office. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

 Supervise the staff of claim processors.Process bulk claims received via EDI vendors or Health Plans.Continue to improve policies and procedures Process refunds resulting from overpayments to providers.Assure that department meets production goals.Report department statistics to external customers and MSI staff.Audit Claims Received Act as subject matter expert for other departments Direct contact with Health Care Providers Remitting ClaimsDirect contact with Management of Major Health Plans Experience:

 Prefer 3-5 Years Medical Claims Experience 2 years Medical Claims Management experience minimum required.

 

Skills and Competencies:

 Requires strong attention to detail and understanding of healthcare claim processing principles.Great oral and written communication skills required. Excellent organization skills; detailed oriented.Ability to motivate direct reports and maintain positive work atmosphereAbility to handle many types of claims

 

Education:

BA or BS degree preferred.
