Clinical Application Analyst - Laboratory Services

The Application Analyst role supports, tests, documents, problem solves, and optimizes the Electronic Health Record (EPIC). Analyst must be able to problem solve in a complex healthcare institution and understand the relationships between clinical and business related needs and technical system elements. Must be able to recognize system problems, identify the cause, and implement appropriate and timely solutions. Requires Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline or Clinical Degree strongly preferred (ie.Nursing), minimum of 2 years working with a Clinical Information System and a minimum of 4 years in Healthcare preferred. Experience working in a lab setting is strongly preferred. Must have the ability to obtain EPIC proficiency, have familiarity with networked environments (Citrix a plus) and MS Word, Excel, database management, be detail oriented, and possess excellent communication skills for communicating complex information.
