CSG, a leading provider of mental health, mental retardation, children’s and eldercare services has an opportunity for a Clinical Coordinator in our Chariots mental health child and adolescent program.

 

CSG is dedicated to improving the lives of children with mental health conditions by providing a full range of services available in the home, community or school setting. CSG’s community-based programs include case management, behavioral health rehabilitation services, family-based mental health services and foster care, all focused on supporting a child’s wellbeing.

 

The Chariots Program provides varying levels of foster care and mental health community based residential treatment homes for children and adolescents in Lancaster, Cumberland, York, and Dauphin Counties.

Job Description



 

The Clinical Coordinator develops and implements in-house programming for all clients.  The Clinical Coordinator serves as treatment team leader of the program, providing guidance and supervision to the staff in the development of overall treatment plans.  Works closely with the Program Director to ensure clients receive quality programming and achieve optimum level of functioning.

 

Job Duties

 

Provides therapeutic interventions to a team involved with children including host home parents, biological family, school officials, and other team members.Participates in daily operation of the programTakes part in the multidisciplinary team processFunctions as a qualified mental health professionalProvides case administration to an assigned caseloadFacilitates group process and activity within the program.Completes required document accurately  and in a timely mannerParticipates in assigned committeesPerforms other duties as assigned.Provides community liaison services, including but not limited, medical providers, psychiatric providers, mental health providers and payers in the form of consultation and/or education services.





 Job Requirements

 

Master’s degree in human Services or a related field with at least two years experience in counseling or social work.  Previous experience working with families and/or child welfare a plus. 





 

Condition of Employment

 

Must pass criminal background clearances and child abuse clearances

Must have a valid driver’s license w/ a safe driving record

Must be able to provide own reliable transportation

Must be able to work flexible schedules



 Desirable Experience

 

Previous experience working with families and knowledge of child welfare systems.

Work with children with Mental Health and/or Autism
