The company applies its expertise in medical devices, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.   Primary Function: Territory: Arizona, Colorado, Texas This position is responsible for contributing to increased sales penetration and improved profitability in key accounts, developing new customer relationships, new sales growth, and protecting relationships with accounts considered to be at risk. This position carries a consulting role with Baxter Medication Delivery customers, existing and potential. Through the introduction and implementation of Baxter's value added services and solutions. This individual strengthens Baxter's relationship with the customer. Focusing on improving medication delivery efficiency and clinical safety, the Clinical Program Manager provides expertise in cost reduction/labor efficient methodologies, creative approaches to improving clinical process and safety outcomes for the caregiver and patient. The Clinical Program Manager is also responsible for; training both Baxter representatives and customers on emerging trends, new innovations and critical success factors in medication delivery and patient safety, product evaluations, implementations and post conversion troubleshooting.  In addition, the position contributes to the creation, development and implementation of new value added products and services that help differentiate Baxter from the competition. Essential duties/responsibilities: Effectively execute clinical project tasks and Connections Portfolio programs based on Medication Delivery commitments to Key Baxter customers and based upon Baxter Medication Delivery's goals to achieve new sales growth, profitable penetration, deeper customer relationships, and protect relationships with accounts considered to be at risk. Build or deepen customer relationships at the management and administrative levels of the targeted healthcare facility and or healthcare system utilizing a consulting approach in the areas of medication delivery clinical operational discipline emphasizing cost reduction, labor efficiency, clinical enhancement and caregiver/patient safety. Assist in the creation and development of future solutions-based services and programs in order to sustain industry leadership in the area of cost containment, medication management processes and clinical training. Actively support product training and implementation for new and existing MD customers through defined implementation processes, access to eLearning, onsite training and consistent follow-up to ensure adoption of new technology. Provide active leadership in healthcare industry organizations in order to establish and maintain Baxter Medication Delivery's differentiating image as experts in the medication delivery process with a commitment to a safer healthcare environment. QUALIFICATIONS: Clinically skilled, licensed healthcare professional in Nursing. A BS degree perfered (Nursing/Business) with 5 + years clinical experience. 2 - 5 years experience in Cost Management, Product Standardization, and Clinical Resource Management. Minimum of 5 years clinical experience. Excellent clinical practice knowledge.- Knowledge of clinical products, clinical application and medication management process. Demonstrated understanding of operational efficiency, productivity, and safety drivers within the clinical environment.- Excellent matrix and influence management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, excellent presentation and teaching skills, computer literate Microsoft Office - (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- Ability to work independently with time management proficiency.
