JOB DETAILS: Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: 8AM - 4:30PM; Days of work: Monday through Friday, some weekend coverage possi SUMMARY: Concurrently review inpatient medical records on the unit and identify opportunities in physician documentation that will clarify patient severity of illness, intensity of service and quality indicator measures. Will assign admission DRGs on Medicare patients. Works with HIM coding staff to ensure clinical documentation accurately reflects patient¿s clinical status and care received. REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBSN from an accredited school of Nursing and currently licensed in the State of Ohio SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGECritical reasoning skills in clinical decision making, problem solving and ability to interpret data. Flexible, positive and clear interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide information in a collaborative manner with physicians and other staff. Organization and computer skills.
