Our Irvine, CA site offers an ideal work environment and all the perks that come from working with an industry leader.  Primary responsibilities include: Preparing spreadsheets to calculate return on investment for clinical and utilization management programs Providing Clinical Analytic support to RFPs (request for proposals) Collaborating with team members (e.g., business stakeholders, clinicians, statisticians, reporting analysts) to complete projects Gathering, summarizing, and analyzing detailed data  Developing and managing multiple projects efficiently and in a timely manner Effectively coordinating and managing personnel and deliverables within tight timelines  May assist in preparing research analytical plans and final reportsThe chosen candidate must possess: A Master's degree or higher A clinical degree (PharmD, MD, RN) with interest in financial analysis or a non-clinician with experience in healthcare financial/economic analysis and clinical therapeutics  Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office Applications  Interest in research and willingness to work on research projects as needed Highly valued assets include: MBA degree Ability to perform advanced Excel functions (calculation functions, pivot tables, lookup and reference functions)  Strong analytic skills Strong working knowledge of the pharmacy benefit management or managed care industry Experience with development or evaluation of clinical programs Outcomes research or health services research experienceUnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.  UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace. Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment. Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.
