Clinical Informatics Specialist

Advocate Medical Group is currently seeking a full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist. This position is responsible for supporting the electronic medical record ('EMR') implementation throughout Advocate Medical Group ('AMG'), for assisting users in optimizing the functions of the EMR, and for continually monitoring and improving EMR process flows. The Specialist, Informatics is part of AMG Operations, but works collaboratively with Information Systems and Business System Leaders to coordinate a successful implementation and to incorporate EMR best practices for AMG.Qualifications: Demonstrated project management experience. Training development and delivery experience. Excellent analytical, technical, and problem solving abilities. Workflow analysis and implementation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills. Experienced using Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Word. Understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding guidelines.
