Clinical Lab Scientist II

The Clinical Lab Scientist II serves as a lead technologist in the daily production of the section and provides technical support to staff. Performs specific lead functions: Reviews and implements quality control and quality assurance, provides oversight of the laboratory information system including procedure writing, in-service of staff and implementation of new applications, supervision of non-licensed staff and assumes responsibilities in the absence of the technical manager and may be in charge of the department on weekends and other periods as required. Qualifications: Bachelor degree in biology or a related science and minimum 3 years laboratory experience. License, Registration or Certification Required California license as Clinical Laboratory Scientist Skills: Must possess leadership/technical capabilities. Excellent organizational skills for self and others.
