Ability to demonstrate proficiency by successfully passing EKG test. 3 to 5 years in hospital and/or appropriate similar setting with one year charge nurse or other leadership experience or may have equivalent combination of education and experience. WA State RN licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Analysis/problem solving skills. Proven leadership skills. Planning, budgeting and fiscal management. Ability to work in politically sensitive areas with controversial issues. Ability to communicate effectively with operating unit and management personnel and to elicit cooperation. Computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet and data entry. Performance improvement process skills. Prefer: BSN; Bachelor's in business management and/or healthcare management classes; 5 to 7 years medical/surgical experience; 2 to 3 years leadership experience.
