CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER

DESCRIPTION: 

Family Home Care, the largest locally owned home health company in the Spokane, WA area, has continued its 40 year legacy of growth by adding another clinical manager to its Spokane Branch Team. 

 

As a Clinical Manager, you are responsible for development of home health services in our Spokane office.  You function as a resource person with primary responsibility for staff’s performance and development.  You direct clinical and support staff to achieve optimal quality outcomes in a cost effective manner, and are responsible to model the positive and optimistic environment we strive to have in the workplace and with our staff.  You hire, evaluate, supervise, and cooperate with a team of various disciplines.  You may conduct home visits on occasion with patients and staff to monitor and support staff and patients.

 

You will work directly with a small management team and report directly to the VP of Operations.  You will be joining a team of over 280 dedicated professionals who strive to help make FHC the employer of choice!  You may be required to be on call based on 6 week rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays to support staff who are on call.  (Low volume of calls)

 

Anticipated schedule for this position is Full Time, Monday – Friday 8:00a-5:00p.  This position is classified as Exempt.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Licensed RN.  Home Health experience is required.  Must understand of home health regulations and practices. Additional healthcare management experience preferred.  A Bachelor degree is required in nursing, health sciences or related field.  Masters degree preferred.
