The Clinical Staff Pharmacist works to assure the timely and accurate administration of medications and IV solutions to patients pursuant to a therapeutically valid physician’s order and in accordance with all state and federal regulations as well as established peer standards, hospital policies, procedures and protocols.  Responsible for collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager to manage the daily operations of all areas of drug distribution; supervises Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Externs/Interns; follows pharmacy policies, procedures and protocols; participates in Performance Improvement activities and maintains readiness for JCAHO accreditation. Works in a challenging clinical environment with opportunity to strongly influence patient outcome through treatment protocols managed by pharmacists.   Fully automated pharmacy with Pyxis Connect; Pyxis Automated Dispensing Cabinets; C-2 Safe & Par Rx.


REQUIREMENTS: Must have Pharm D,  Hospital experience is preferred and must be licensed Pharmacist in the state of Massachusetts.
