Department: IS - Clinical Systems Pay: DOE Hours: Full Time, Days Location: 70th and Sandpoint Way The IS Program Director will be accountable for the successful coordination and implementation of multiple clinical information system projects and post production support that comprise Children’s IS strategy. This position will work with IS management to prioritize and plan both short-term and long-term projects, manage the integration and dependencies (tasks, people, money, issues, risks, etc.), work with the individual IS projects to ensure implementation of Children’s project methodology and standards, and mentor staff and the individual project managers in system implementation skills, project management skills and team building. Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Computer Science or a related field, certification or equivalent technical training/work experience, minimum of 10 years demonstrated project leadership experience and at least 7 years in a manager/supervisory position with demonstrated experience developing and mentoring staff. Prefers: MBA, MHA or MS in related field, healthcare experience (provider-related) and familiarity with clinical applications in healthcare setting.
