Good Samaritan Hospital has opened the lower Hudson Valley's first Cardiovascular Institute. This incredible state-of-the-art facility offers the very latest in cardiac care. But even more important will be the people we choose to shape and grow this marvelous facility. 

In this position you will coordinate and implement clinical research protocols; supervise the activities of the Clinical Trials Nurses; and coordinate all nurse activities specifically related to the implementation of the treatment regimen. You will also coordinate and implement clinical research protocols under the direction of the Director of Cardiac Clinical Trials; Provide care to patients enrolled in each protocols; act as the advocate by assuring the safety, consistency, and accuracy of the treatment arrangements as dictated by the protocol; coordinate all nurse activities specifically related to the implementation of the treatment regimen; work cooperatively within the health system and with patients' family members and with multidisciplinary team members. Must have excellent & effective interactive and communication (all written and presentation skills). 

Required Education/Licenses: BSN; Graduated from an accredited school of nursing; Valid NYS RN License; CPR certification; IV certification and ICU/CCU based orientation.

Required Experience: This person should have a minimum of 5 years previous experience in clinical trials, preferably cardiac clinical trials; and also 3 years experience supervising others.  The coordinator should have extensive experience in regulatory matters involving clinical trials, specifically cardiac clinical trials.
