Clinical and Integrated Services Director
Skid Row Housing Trust, founded in 1989, is a multi-faceted nonprofit organization developing, managing and operating permanent supportive housing for homeless, extremely low income and disabled individuals. The Trust is one of the top supportive housing providers in the country. The Trust owns and operates twenty residential properties providing over 1,200 apartments in downtown Los Angeles. In addition to serving as an affordable housing developer and property management company, the Trust provides comprehensive social services for formerly homeless residents.
The Trust is seeking a highly qualified and experienced full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker to serve as the Clinical and Integrated Services Director. The Clinical and Integrated Services Director will provide clinical supervision for 20 case managers, be responsible for all aspects of hiring, training, and supervising social services staff, and manage integrated services collaborative projects with partnering organizations. The ideal candidate will have administrative experience, demonstrated leadership capacity, and a strong commitment to serving the homeless, most vulnerable and those men and women with significant disabilities.
Major Duties & Responsibilities include: Overseeing the hiring, orientation, evaluation, training, supervision and staff development of all social services staff; Provision of clinical supervision for all case management staff Ability to work collaboratively with partner healthcare, substance abuse, mental health, service agencies and government agencies on integrated services projects and manage multiple such projects Collaborating with the property management company to ensure the highest levels of safety and efficiency in permanent housing sites Collaborating with administrative and development staff on program design, funding applications and program evaluation
Qualifications, Abilities and Skills: LCSW and related experience with supportive housing and/or homeless adults disabled by mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, AIDS, and chronic disabilities. Knowledge of local homeless, mental health, primary healthcare, AIDS and chemical dependency service system; Experience in a managerial position; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Experience in program development and clinical supervision; Demonstrated skills in developing training curricula; Highly skilled in providing direction to, and managing, multiple programs in a non-profit social service environment.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience and up to $80K/year plus benefits. Benefits include two weeks annual vacation, 10 holidays, health, dental and long-term disability insurance and eligibility to participate in 401(k) plan.
