Clinician for Children and Adolescents

The Pines Residential Treatment Centers have been helping children and adolescents overcome a variety of difficulties in a therapeutic, safe and structured residential environment. We offer several distinct residential programs for youth ages 5 to 21 and have emerged as one of the largest and strongest treatment organizations for behaviorally disordered youth. Specifically, a licensed or license eligible Clinician is needed to work with adolescent males at our Brighton Center Residential Treatment Facility located in Portsmouth, VA.

The Brighton Center serves adolescent males ages 11 - 21 years on its 30+ acre campus. As a Clinician, you will facilitate individual, group, and family therapy focusing on decreasing aggression and improving impulse control and frustration tolerance within the resident's family and peer relationships. Critical to this position is coordination of the aftercare support services and providers for the residents.

Qualified candidates must possess a Master's Degree and be eligible for Licensure in VA, current licensure (LCSW or LPC) is preferred. Two or more years clinical experience working with high risk children or adolescents preferred.

The successful candidate will also posses outstanding organizational and problem solving skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential information in a professional, time sensitive manner. Superior verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the commitment to quality client / customer service.
