Co-Occurring Lead Clinican

Under the guidance of the Clinical Director, the SA Lead Clinician will have primary administrative authority over the SA staff at the in-patient NOVA site. The SA lead clinician provides direct support, supervision and professional assistance to all counseling staff including BHP’s and BHT’s. The SA lead clinician maintains basic administrative duties such as, but not limited to: hiring of employees, staff time sheets, scheduling changes, approvals of vacation and sick time requests, ensuring training requirements have been completed, monitoring of staff performance, basic disciplinary interventions, completion of annual staff evaluations, supervision, observation of groups and 1:1 counseling sessions, leading of groups or completion of 1:1 counseling and assessments if needed, directing of staff meetings and attendance of clinic meetings, advocacy, and any interactions required with management staff at Magellan, DBHS and NOVA..  In addition, with the Clinical Director, the SA lead clinician is responsible for monitoring, training, and supervising any SA interns placed in the clinic

 

Requirements:

Supervision experience preferred

Licensed in the state of Arizona as a LISAC, LPC or LCSW, or able to be licensed.

Master’s degreed

Customer service skills with emphasis on rapport building and communication skills

Ability to handle high stress environments and work independently, with flexibility, in given deadlines

Basic computer skills

Experience in the co-occurring field
