Collection / Billing Supervisor

The Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Billing and or Collection Department to ensure that the daily activities and operations run smoothly and efficiently.

 

The Supervisor is responsible for the following:

 Maintain department/staff with policy and procedures: hiring, training, corrective consultations, performance evaluations and attendance issues. Over see the day to day accounts receivables with the Data Entry, Billing and Collections departments such as: daily deposits, making sure field tickets are received, processed and entered. Problem solve clerk, billing, and patient issues.Monitor work production; timeliness for billing claims and correctness of billing claims. Receive, review and process multiple accounts daily. Work with Collection agencies and work special projects with insurance companies.

Qualifications:

 

5 to 7 years experience in a lead or supervisory role in a health care claims office with responsibility for decision making.
