Join us and find the career of a lifetime. A Communication Specialist performs for a variety of entities within the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS). Answer and correctly process incoming and outgoing calls for UPHS. Provides information to patients, families, general public, and healthcare professionals regarding the Health System found in the Xtend database, on call schedules and other Telecommunication Services Resource materials. This position is part-time, working weekends only on second shift. Minimum Job Requirements: - High school graduate or equivalent. - Minimum one-year experience in customer service. - Ability to work quickly while making accurate decisions. - Previous experience working for the University of Pennsylvania Health Systems or within a healthcare setting preferred. - Experience with telephone consoles, personal computers, and public contact necessary. - Must be available to work 2nd Shift and Weekends.
