Community Liaison/Physician Marketing

Sheltering Arms, Virginia’s premier physical rehabilitation provider, is seeking a dynamic marketing professional to join our team.  As a member of our Community Relations team, you will have the opportunity to differentiate yourself, while marketing an array of programs from a company that offers instant name recognition, credibility and respect.

 

Responsibilities.

· Act as the liaison between internal and external customers to increase referrals to the Sheltering Arms continuum

· Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources

· Market directly to physicians, skilled nursing care, hospitals, home health agencies, case managers, discharge planners and any other potential referral source

· Conduct 1-on-1 meetings with physicians and key decision makers

· Collaborate with marketing and other key staff to oversee problem resolution in areas of internal communication, productivity enhancements and business development

· Coordinate special events, in-services and open houses to educate community resources about the Sheltering Arms continuum of care



Requirements

· BS/BA degree from an accredited university or college, Marketing or PR Communication major preferred

· RN or other clinical experience strongly preferred

· 2 – 3 years Marketing, Public Relations and Sales experience

· Healthcare experience is strongly preferred

· Basic computer skills in PowerPoint, contact management, business application software
