Basic Purpose of Position: Meeting and exceeding sales and census goals, coordination of all marketing plan activities, public relations, community networking including outreach and maintaining responsibility of budgetary guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:Support the Mission, Vision and Culture of the organization through positive communication and leadership Supervise staff when applicable and necessary; provide training; set and adjust rates of pay and hours of work; provide performance feedback both informally and formally; recognize both appropriate and inappropriate behaviors and performance (provide rewards and discipline); apportion work among subordinates. · Must give community tours and explain the services that are providedMaintain knowledge of physical plant to assist with emergency procedures Be aware of any legislation, laws, restrictions or other significant information for dissemination to the clients we serve as outlined in state regulationsDemonstrate strong communication skills and ability to explain paperwork, deposit agreements/leases, etc., to prospective residentsCoordinate move-in of new residents as stated in move-in processWork effectively with department heads to explain and set up available serviceCoordinate and carry out marketing / community outreach programs meeting predetermined goals.Work within approved budgetCompose press releases to be approved by RSMD.Participate in analysis of the marketplace and formulation of a written strategic marketing plan with the assistance of the RSMD and Executive DirectorImplement marketing management system, move-in schedules system and statistical dataMonitor set-up and appearance of model apartments; maintain professional CRD officeAttend staff and leadership team meetings and stand-upsAssist residents and families with decision-making and provide appropriate referral sourcesMonitor market quarterly using competitive studyMaintain punctual attendanceOperate within all policies and proceduresMaintain resident confidentialityAssist Executive Director with special projects and special community eventsMaintain community in attractive manner as outlined in marketing auditMaintain active presence in sales territory as determined by ED and RSMDEducate community members on community resources and recruit for community toursAssist other staff whenever needed willinglyMaintain census of 93% or higherTrack all prospects using guest registration and other tools (lead tracking software)Train appropriate staff on providing community tours, customer service and other marketing related trainingMaintain company values, standards, and visionPerform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
This position requires an A.A. Degree or higher in marketing, business communications or related field (experience may be substituted for the degree requirement). Three years marketing experience including direct client contact and sales of service. Computer knowledge, including excel and word; knowledge and understanding of the needs of senior citizens and the ability to relate positively and effectively; have networking skills; must be able to work with others and have problem-solving skills. Employee must have reliable transportation, to travel for assessments and other outreach, automobile insurance as required by law and a valid driver’s license. Employee must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language fluently.
Physical Demands:
In order to successfully perform the various duties of this job, the employee must frequently be able to stand, stoop and bend; regularly must lift up to 20 pounds and push up to 40 pounds, is regularly required to talk and hear, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. Must be physically able to escort people through the community including those requiring a wheelchair. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
