Compensation Analyst

Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s compensation plan and functions to support goal of recruiting and retaining excellent workforce. Work with management and all applicable in confidential manner to provide guidance regarding compensation-related matters. Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of healthcare environment and EEO/AA requirements and implications in all recommendations and efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.  Develop, implement, and maintain company’s compensation functions.  Design, develop, and implement sound, legally compliant compensation-related policies and procedures.  Review existing salary structure, job descriptions, etc and provide recommendations for change. Lead in implementation of changes.  Monitor day-to-day operations of the compensation area to ensure that reporting requests and recommendations are made in a timely manner and are compliant with all federal, state, and local laws as well as with company policies and procedures.  Review job offers and make recommendations as appropriate.  Complete complex level of job analysis and evaluations utilizing external and internal compensation data.  Administer pay programs including base pay, salary planning/administration, job descriptions and evaluations, salary/market pricing analyses, bonus administration, and special projects.  Provide support in analyzing program results, identifying potential opportunities for enhancements to pay programs and preparing standard and ad-hoc management reports.  Perform EEO/AA compliant analysis of salaries and provide reports.  Ability to work with all levels of management, Finance, Payroll, HR and all appropriate others.  Monitor compensation-related laws and regulations on regular basis and provide regular updates and potential implications for MFA to HR Manager.  Provide compensation-related training.  Other duties as assigned. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Education BA/BS in Human Resources Management and/or related field. Experience 6+years of Human Resources experience, with a minimum of 4 years of progressive compensation analysis/administration experience. Experience must include background in healthcare and government contractor experience. Experience with OFCCP and/or other government audits is preferred. Certifications Certification as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and PHR/SPHR strongly preferred.
