Position Description:

Revenue Cycle Management Consultant will provide consulting services to medical group practices and central billing offices in the area of revenue cycle management.  Projects involve complete assessment of clients’ financial performance, operations and processes, over-riding strategies, organizational structures, etc.  Projects involve financial analyses, benchmarking, process re-design, access to care and system selection. 

Responsibilities:Design and scope client projectsTravel to client locations to conduct client assessmentsDevelop recommendations Identify how MedSynergies delivery methodologies can be applied to individual clientsPrepare and present deliverables at MedSynergies or client locationsCoordinate cross-departmentally to develop RCM solutions for clientsFacilitate internal and external client meetings.Manage a variety of projects Travel to client locations to support remediation/implementation activitiesCoordinate with senior-level client personnel and MedSynergies executive and management staffCoordinate with sales to secure additional business as appropriateDevelop strong client relationships Assist in the development and mentoring of other consultantsDevelop consulting toolsConduct industry and vendor researchMaintain current knowledge of MedSynergies and competitive RCM delivery methodologiesAuthor articles and white papersDeliver presentations at professional meetingsDevelop case studies highlighting the areas where company has positively impacted clients’ financial performanceProvide consulting support for internal projects as assigned



Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree, MBA or MHA degree is a plusRevenue cycle management experience preferredConsulting experience in process redesign, organizational development and system selectionVery strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skillsStrong project management skillsAbility to travel up to 80%
