Contract Administrator/Paralegal

Job Summary: Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the contracting process, as well as reviewing, redlining, and drafting contracts in accordance with legal/regulatory requirements and in the best interests of Central Maine Medical Center and its affiliates. This position will also evaluate contracts by category, service, and commodity in an effort to increase efficiency, enhance productivity, and reduce costs.

Requirements: Degree: Bachelors Degree - Law or Paralegal studies - equal experience level. Three years experience in contracting & contract management, preferably in the Healthcare field. Must have ability to prioritize workload independently.

Skills: Advanced computer knowledge Excel, Word, & MS Outlook/Groupwise; intermediate knowledge in Access environment.
