Contract Manager
U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc. ("USPh"), which was founded in 1990, is a publicly held company which operates approximately 350+ outpatient physical and/or occupational therapy clinics in 41 states. The Company's clinics provide post-operative care for a variety of orthopedic-related disorders and sports-related injuries, treatment for neurologically-related injuries, rehabilitation of injured workers and preventative care.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has a "can do" attitude to join our exciting company as a Managed Care Contract Manager. This position will be responsible for managing all contracting needs for an entire region which equates to approximately 100 clinic locations. This role will be based out of our Houston, TX corporate office.
Qualified candidate requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent work experience required.
* Minimum of 2-5 years experience of direct managed care contracting experience.
* The ability to redline agreements for changes and negotiate contracts.
* Understanding of the industry from a National perspective as well as a proven track record of success.
* An understanding of contracting within closed networks.
* This individual must also be committed to consistently producing the best possible work product at all times.
* An individual that is self-motivated, extremely detail-oriented, very organized and can multi-task to very unusual levels.
* Excellent administrative, analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication and presentation skills are required.
