Contracts Analyst - ALT

The Contracts Analyst is responsible for the maintenance of provider contracts and amendments. This position negotiates contract terms and provider rates with providers in the best interest of the company, provides provider rate analysis, assists with managing risk by ensuring that all contract agreement exceptions are appropriately approved and documented, produces contract language for provider contract agreements and amendments, documents contract terms and customizations, produces and obtains contracts and amendments, coordinates contract renewals and terminations, assures all parties are compliant with contract terms, and provides general assistance to the Contracts and Network Development Department under the direction of the Contracts Manager.Specialized Skills and Qualifications:* 4 year college degree in business or related field (experience in contracts management may be substituted for up to two years of college education)* Excellent communications skills - written and verbal* Strong database management skills (prefer Access experience)* Excellent computer skills (MS Office)* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Time management and organization* Ability to think creatively and negotiate contract terms as necessaryResponsibilities:* Produce and obtain contracts and contract amendments as necessary; negotiate terms as needed in the best interests of the company.* Provider rate negotiation and analysis.* Maintain contract and amendment document templates.* Coordinate contract renewals and terminations.* Maintain a database of contract terms and customizations to allow for efficient management of contracts.* Communicate contract and amendment customizations/exceptions to all parties affected by the exceptions.* Ensure contract terms compliance through tracking and documentation of contractual obligations.* Prepare contract-related correspondence and amendments as needed for provider locations* Ensure SOX compliance with all processes.* Other duties as required.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.attention to detail
