Controller/CFO

Aliquippa, PA

 

 

Manage department providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all facility activities that will assist management and other users in making educated economic decisions about the facilities future.

  Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations. Direct determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets. Advise department staff concerning functions and activities, work assignments, workflow, deadlines, etc. Daily management of cash flow activities. Preparation of bank reconciliations on an ongoing basis. Arrange for audits of company’s accounts. Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies. Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing process. Review company financial statements for accuracy and clarity. Supervise and compile statistical information as required for administration, regulatory agencies, and third party payors. Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements: Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 10 or more years experience managing an accounting function in a medium or large size company,  healthcare experience preferred. Proven supervisory experience. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be PC literate Proficient knowledge of Excel, problem solving and analytical skills required. Prior auditing and payroll management experience helpful Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance.
