Counselors & Team Leaders

Liberation Programs, a private, non-profit substance abuse prevention and treatment organization, currently has the following opportunities available:

 

COUNSELORS: Certified addictions counselors (or eligible) needed for both Stamford and Bridgeport locations. Duties include: facilitating groups, engaging clients in treatment, completing intakes, conducting individual sessions, maintaining clinical documentation, and conducting outreach. Qualified candidates should have experience working in the addictions field. Must have excellent assessment and written communication skills, and be a team player.

 

TEAM LEADERS: Full-Time opportunities in Stamford for licensed clinicians (LADC, LCSW, LMFT or LPC). Provide supervision to counselors; conduct chart audits; fill in service gaps in the absence of staff coverage; conduct outreach to community partners; manage some administrative tasks. Must be well-organized and have excellent leadership skills, including the ability to positively motivate staff. Experience working with chemical dependency/methadone population, including supervisory experience.
