Crisis Clinicians Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic is seeking full-time Crisis Clinician’s to provide behavioral health crisis services in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, communities, and office-based locations. Crisis Clinicians respond to mobile crisis calls from community professionals and persons within Allegheny County. This includes, but is not limited to, answering questions, obtaining clinical information and scheduling outpatient evaluations, responding to telephone crisis, and documentation of all activities. I (1033687)The position requires a bachelors degree with 3 years of clinical experience or a masters degree in a human services field. Experience in mental health crisis intervention, case management, or in home therapy, along with phone triage and knowledge of psychiatric assessments is strongly preferred. II (1033785)The position requires a masters degree with 3 years of experience in a human services field. In lieu of this, a bachelors degree with 5 years of clinical experience including 3 years of crisis experience will be considered. Experience in mental health crisis intervention, case management, or in home therapy, along with phone triage and knowledge of psychiatric assessments is strongly preferred. III (1034126)Position will service as shift supervisor for the telephone crisis service. Crisis Clinician III will serve as shift supervisors and oversee daily function in the office in coordination with Crisis Program Telephone Clinical Coordinator. This includes, but is not limited to, staff performance evaluation, staff development, development of orientation, and complete consumer/family crisis assessments (face to face and telephone). Will work efficiently and independently in crisis setting and provide supportive counseling to promote consumer stability. The position requires a masters degree with 3 years of experience in human health experience, supervisory experience preferred. License in social work or in professional counseling preferred. Experience in mental health crisis intervention, casement management or in home therapy, along with phone triage and knowledge of psychiatric assessments is strongly preferred. All positions require the ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and to assume on call responsibilities when necessary. Act 33/34 clearances must be submitted within 30 days post-hire.
