Location: Vienna, VAYour location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend DBA/Data warehouse developer-Vienna, VARequirements include:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred3-5 years of experience in Crystal Report XI and end to end reporting development including: (1) Working with Business users and capture data/reporting requirements. (2) Develop Full Client and Web Intelligence reports. (3) Creating and documenting Report design specifications (4) Creating and documenting Crystal Report specifications with detailed database mapping (5) Ability to develop ad hoc reports on demand (6). Integrate Crystal reports with web portal. (7) Should have strong analytical and data analysis skills2-4 years of ETL development experienceExperience with SQL Server 2005/Oracle 10gMust have very good understanding of MS AccessMust be a self starter and work under minimal supervision.Experience with full software development lifecycleDemonstrated web development experience in a Microsoft environment (.NET,ASP, IIS)Applied understanding of data modeling and database design conceptsFamiliarity with enterprise database management systems (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, etc)Clear, effective communication (oral and written, with clients, co-workers and management)Experience working in a team environment or as an individual.DC Metro area candidates preferred Responsibilities include:Maintains system and application integrity with ability to apply security settingsPerforms application and data level design using industry standards and best practicesPerforms impact assessment on all system/application changes as needed; follows appropriate change management and control proceduresWorks closely with clients and others in IT to understand client business and technical requirements, promotes clear understanding of implications of technical choices madeSolves routine problems independently; difficult problems with some assistanceDocuments and monitors incident and work requests per departmental proceduresAssists with evaluation of new technologyFulfills routine communication requirements, including system documentation and status reportingProvides staffing for systems support to meet Service Level Agreements, including participating in after-hours and on-call support rotation as neededMinimal traveling may be required About Hudson IT & Telecommunications Hudson IT&T serves as a trusted resource for clients seeking high-quality technology professionals and IT solutions.
