DIR CLIN RESOURCE MGT

Position Description

Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President for Health Information Management, the Director of Clinical Resource Management is responsible for the planning, organizing, and managing of the resources provided to support the functions of Case Management, Utilization Review, Discharge Planning, and Pre-certification for Temple University Hospital. This shall include all Insurance Company Product lines (At-risk, and traditional fee-for-service) and will encompass both inpatient, inpatient to outpatient transitional management, and outpatient resource management. Demonstrated leadership and administrative skills, budgetary management skills and excellent intercommunication skills required. Education and Experience Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Registered Nurse with current Pennsylvania licensure required. Minimum of ten years progressive experience in Utilization Management within an acute care setting, several of which are at the director/managerial level. Experience in a University Teaching Hospital preferred. Experience in case management and discharge planning preferred. 40 hours/5 days/8:00a.-5:00p.
