We currently have an opening for a Director Medical Staff Administration. JOB SUMMARY: Directs and coordinates administrative support and provides resources for the Medical Staff to enable them to fulfill their duties and obligations as defined by regulatory agencies, JCAHO, CMA and the SFMH Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations. Provides Administrative oversight to Library Services, Continuing Medical Education program, Institutional Review Board activities, House Officer coverage, the Emergency Department on call program, and new physician orientation. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: B.A. or B.S. degree. 3-5 years executive experience in medical staff organization management. Proven ability in systems organization and supervising staff. Knowledge of medico-legal issues and laws and regulatory agency standard and requirements. LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services (CMSC) preferred.
