DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

In this highly visible leadership role, you provide complete and effective managerial direction for Agency operations, systems and marketing efforts, including developing the vision for future operations, and coordinating resources to meet/exceed company goals. In this position, you will: develop short/long-range sales/marketing goals and plans set ambitious/appropriate performance standards oversee the quality and targeting of marketing materials for customer groups direct IS operations to ensure data integrity and security lead Agency product development efforts and entry in to new markets establish, enhance and implement key processes, policies and procedures hire, coach and oversee staff ensure all compliance requirements are met develop/maintain the provider network maintaining contact with key client personnel and proactively identifying and resolving potential issues oversee budgeting and cost control efforts handling other related duties as necessary The ideal candidate will be willing to challenge the status quo, have a relevant bachelor’s degree (marketing, business, etc), and possess 10 years experience in the insurance industry that encompassed sales, marketing, systems and leadership. 5+ years experience with workers’ compensation claims, keen expertise in managed care, cost containment, marketing principles, regulatory processes, regional market dynamics, and systems (networking/database/application technologies) are also essential. A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required, along with strong communication, managerial, analytical and presentation skills.
