Our client in the Ashland, MA area has an excellent opportunity for a Director of Radiology. This hospitals mission is to serve the community as a public health advocate and provide support and services which respond to the area's health care needs through health education, health promotion and access to care.

 

 

The Director of Radiology report will directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director will plan, direct functions, activities and personnel of Imaging Services; coordinate a variety of administrative, fiscal and technical activities to ensure efficient operation of all Imaging Services. This individual will participate in the development of goals, policies, procedures, and budgets for the department. Ensure appropriate staffing, supplies, and equipment. Coordinates all department activities with those of other departments engaged in clinical activities. The candidate must possess demonstrated experience with Performance Improvement initiatives with proven results in patient safety and quality improvement. 

 

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree and certification by ARRT required. 

Masters Degree Preferred

The candidate must possess demonstrated experience with Performance Improvement initiatives with proven results in patient safety and quality improvement. 

Qualified candidates will possess extensive radiology management experience; demonstrate excellent time management, analytical and technical expertise with prior experience in program development.

Minimum five years of previous management experience related to Imaging Services
