Data Analyst II

Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis of health care and financial data to support program management within the Brown & Toland enterprise, including the Finance, Medical Services, Network Management and Physician Practice Solutions departments and their respective committees. This position acts as an internal consultant to the organization, developing analytic methodologies and report formats.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

- BA or BS degree from an accredited program or relative career experience. Course work or equivalent experience in statistics, business, and health care required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years experience in quantitative analysis or financial analysis.
- Experience in a health care delivery system is required; experience with patient accounts receivable highly preferred.
- Experience utilizing business intelligence, relational database, and data warehouse methodologies with Cognos software experience being a plus.
- Strong quantitative and analytic skills, along with well developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, database and statistical applications.
