Data Control Clerk -Patient Accounting

Join us and find the career of a lifetime. Perform Quality Review on all incoming charge batches, track & Log them. Create registrations on SMS, if warranted. Create & maintain Excel spreadsheet for batch processing information for charges. Reconcile keyed & electronically processed charge & cash files to SMS system reports. Balance cash batches to check amount. Investigate cash discrepancies and charge rejections. Determine the corrective course of action to correct errors. Communicate with UPHS personnel to obtain financial information and key data on patient accounts. Prefer some college education. Prefer a year experience in Healthcare setting. A plus if worked in Hospital Patient Accounting and/or Billing departments. Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be detailed oriented, well organized and have excellent aptitude for numbers. Able to multi-task, meet and exceed deadlines. Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel preferred. Knowledge of IDX, a plus.
