Position Description:

Under the direction of the Sr. Director, provides support to Data Management Team in order to respond incoming customer requests. Support may include: data collection through surveying, ad-hoc queries, mapping, research; data management through data receipt/tracking, data verification; and, data reporting through compilation of statistics into documents and presentations. Additionally, supports the analytic activities of the Outcomes Team.RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:• Tracks acquisition of data from regular company reports and internal databases. Manages incoming data to ensure integrity and completeness. Performs follow-up analysis as needed to resolve discrepancies with accuracy of the data.• Proactively manage the data files to ensure the most current information is available before report production.• Identifies problems relevant to data coding, keying, file maintenance, and basic analyses, and works with Sr. Director to resolve those problems.• Collects, codes, and maintains research data to ensure accuracy and integrity of a project’s underlying data sources.• Produces and regularly updates Outcomes data dictionaries, manuals, and other data management documentation. Maintains active list of Center-level and Service Area contacts.• Inputs and manages incoming data from various departments and sources using MS ACCESS, Excel, or other database software.• Performs ad-hoc queries and report generation to support analysis requests regarding State Annual and Complaint Surveys, Infection Control Report and COR indicators, Marketplace Intelligence and Analytics, custom Survey Research.• Assists in preparation documentation including tables and figures for data-based reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: o Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred in social sciences, healthcare administration or statistics preferred.o One to three years of relevant experience preferred.o Technical skills preferred with experience in MS Excel, Access and other relevant computer packages. o Working knowledge of database design, development and management a plus.
