Data Supervisor, Membership Accounting

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of membership data. Uses audit reports and manual review to ensure member applications are processed in accordance with CMS and Bravo Health regulations. Reviews and creates various reports to monitor department productivity and activity.  Reports directly to Manager, Membership Accounting. This position will work with different departments to ensure Membership Accounting data is accurate, relevant and available for consumption across the company. 

Runs daily accretion files and updates corresponding data tables.  Data to be tracked will include but is not limited to: audit reports, daily productivity, membership statistics (enrollment/disenrollment), and data entry accuracy.

Monitors CMS communications for changes to policies and procedures required to stay compliant.

Uses personal initiative, creativity and tenacity to solve issues and develop long term solutions to challenges and obstacles related to a rapidly growing company and changing requirements. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

§ Monitors daily operation reports for Membership Accounting. Tracks trends and progress.

§ Develops additional reports in conjunction with QNXT Configuration Support team to ensure complete coverage of member data issues.

§ Provides ad hoc reports as required by Membership Accounting or other departments relating to member data.

§ Supervises team of Quality Control personnel.  Uses team to conduct reviews of application processing and compliance with CMS guidelines.

§ Monitors CMS communications for impact to data collection and processing procedures.  Minimum qualificationS:

 

§ Bachelors Degree or higher in a technical discipline preferred. Can replace education with experience in Medicare.

§ Five years progressive experience in data management and processing.

§ Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills. Must be able to create pivot tables and charts. Must be able to create and maintain simple databases for reporting purposes.

§ At least 2 years in a Medicare/Healthcare environment

§ Demonstrated ability to manage employees effectively.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

§ Medicare and Medicaid experience preferred.

§ Demonstrated ability to analyze, apply, interpret and communicate policies, procedures and regulations.

§ Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.

§ Must be able to communicate requirements effectively to various levels within the organization.  

§ Ability to consume large amounts of information and apply newly gained knowledge to the improvement of policies and procedures.

§ Bi-lingual candidates highly desired
