Database & EDI Analyst and Systems Engineer

ABQ Health Partners is the largest physician-owned, multi-specialty group practice in the Southwest, with 18 locations in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Santa Fe.

Our IT department is expanding and we are looking for experienced professionals with a desire to work in an evolving company to enhance our department.


We are currently seeking:

• Database and EDI Analyst

Will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting highly complex medical practice management and clinical software products, effectively producing high-quality work, both within standard and extremely aggressive timelines; working closely with the Help Desk; and creating, maintaining, and documenting data extracts to support critical applications.

This position requires a working-knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Internet communications Protocols, and Web and Web services, as well as proficiency in development on both the Windows and Unix/Linux platforms, and general systems-administration skill-sets within both platforms.

Minimum of one year experience with software development or interface development and Electronic Data Interface required. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in math, business, computer science, IT or related.


• Systems Engineer

Will be responsible for providing user support of desktop devices and servers; coordinating configuration, installation and troubleshooting of desktop devices, server hardware and software; and implementing hardware and software. Will also design and support Windows 2000/2003 server environment, ensure that proper security is in place on all servers, and confirm backup procedures.

Minimum of four years experience and Associate’s degree in IT or related required. Must have MCSE 2000 certification and must be highly proficient with TCP/IP protocol.
