3 month contract

 

Datastage developer needed to work on a high visibility Renal project. The assignment is scheduled to take 2-3 months. There is the possibility that the contractor could also be used on another project. This could extend the assignment by several months. The project involves pulling data into our Oracle database from other databases using the IBM Data Stage ETL tool. Oracle PL/SQL procedures may be used to cleanse, transform, report quality errors and insert the data into target tables.

 

The person chosen will work one-on-one with another member of my staff in a team programming type arrangement to both create the required ETL jobs and to impart additional understanding of the IBM Data Stage product to the person they are working with. Therefore, they must have a personality that lends itself to a collaborative relationship.

 

The basic requirements are:

  Expert level knowledge of IBM Data Stage and Oracle 10g PL/SQL.

  Working knowledge of AS/400 DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server databases.

  Ability to work in a collaborative relationship to accomplish the required tasks

  Ability to clearly impart knowledge to another person
