Dental Assistant/Clinical Team Leader

 

Responsible for facilitating all daily back office operations; assigns individual responsibilities to back office staff; leads the team in accomplishing daily and monthly goals; maintains and assigns work schedules to individual staff members; manages sick days and time off for back office staff; steps in to help or coach others as needed; works with the office manager in creating smooth work days.

 

Additional responsibilities include: chairside dental assisting duties and direct patient care as needed; charting and making notes for patients as needed; supply inventory and ordering according to budget; lab cases management; communication with suppliers and vendors; other back office responsibilities as needed.

 

Responsible for maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, OSHA, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA and other regulatory agencies.

Required:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 2 years of recent dental assisting experience

Degree or Certification from an accredited college or technical school

Certifications and Licensing as mandated by the state laws in good standing

 

Desired:

Current RDA Certification or higher
