Job Purpose:To help create an environment and make our patients feel like our office is the best dental experience they have ever had.
Duties:
* Welcomes patients in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
*manage our schedule for maximum efficiency and productivity while meeting the needs our our clients.
*present treatment plans, motivate, educate and excite the patients towards optimal health and creating a beautiful smile.
* Coordinate the office schedule for continuing education, vacation, days off, kids days, holidays.
* Assist and play a key role in marketing and growing our practice through the web site, referral programs, bagel basket, kids day, fun run, print media, smile books etc.
* Sedation coordinator: Educate and coordinate patients for sedation through oral sedation or nitrous oxide, coordinate any medical issues with other providers.
*Hygiene coordinator: assist the hygientist in keeping their schedule filled.
* Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
* Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
* Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; controlling credit extended to patients; filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
* Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs.
* Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
*Responsible for staff meetings - scheduling, coordinating, notes.
* Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
