Design Engineer

Ultradent, a world-wide leader in dental research and development and manufacturing located in South Jordan is currently seeking a full-time:

 

Job Ad: Design Engineer

 

Essential Functions:

-Designs and prototypes components used in new or existing products.

 

-Creates, researches, evaluates and approves R&D component designs.

 

-Develops and interprets product specific testing.

 

-Tracks and completes multiple component projects.

 

-Coordinates work of self with others in a team environment.

 

-Reports to Manager.

 

Required:

-BA in Engineering or education and direct work experience.

 

-At least 2 years experience designing components for injection molding.

 

-Knowledge of 3D modeling Software (Certified SolidWorks Preferred).

 

-Must understand principles of engineering, prototyping and tolerances.

 

-Understanding of various part fabrication and manufacturing processes.

 

-Must have the ability to communicate confidential ideas and designs with others using e-mail, conversations and presentations.

 

-Must be able to develop and enhance the ideas of others.
