Development Coordinator-Hospice

 

Metropolitan Jewish Geriatric Foundation's (MJGF) mission is to provide support, advice, make grants to, and perform fund raising and investment management functions for its supported organizations. Today, funds raised by MJGF support the participating agencies and programs of Metropolitan Jewish Health System (MJHS), thereby assuring the most effective and comprehensive services to the community.

 Development Coordinator Hospice

In this role you will oversee all development efforts for Metropolitan Jewish Hospice.  Manage all activities related to analysis, planning, execution and oversight of fundraising and selected stewardship programs for Hospice development efforts.  You will work with the Director of Planned Gifts to secure planned gifts, serve as the Foundation’s representative to assigned committees and events and train Development staff in Hospice philosophy and standards.

 Position Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a B.S.  Master’s and/or Certificate in Fundraising a plus.  Minimum of 2 years related experience.  Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills also required.  Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge a plus.
