Dietition

DIETITIAN
A full-time dietitian position is available at a 280 bed skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation facility. Qualified candidates must possess excellent communication and documentation skills and work well independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Job responsibilities include assessing and documenting residents' nutritional needs, tracking weight variances, recommending therapeutic diets and supplements and communicating significant weight changes to nursing and medical staff. Direct communication with residents and families to respond to their dietary concerns, requests, and questions as well as to educate them regarding their specific nutritional needs is a strong focus of the position.
Experience in a nursing home, subacute rehab, or hospital is preferred but not necessary. Recent college graduates are welcome to apply. Please email or fax resumes to hr@newyorkrehab.com or 718-626-2135.
